A)Peter Horvath net artist.

Q)Do you think of yourself as an artist,or what?

A)Sure. artist.

Q)What is creativity?

A)When you're 4 years old and you decide to cover the entire floor of your room with baby powder to obscure the lines in the floor tiles.

Q)Does your environment influence your art,either in style/format or interference?

A)I'm an urban boy. My work is urban.

Q)What are some of your influences and inspirations?

A)Subways. Buildings. NYC. Jenny Holzer's work.

Q)What’s your favourite mediums(pen,charcoal,paint,canvas,etc…)to work in/on?

A)Video

Q)Who are some of your favourite painters/artists?

A)Barbara Kruger, Bill Viola, Jenny Holzer, Gary Hill, John Heartfield. Oh and Hannah Hoch and the Dadaists.

Q)How long does it normally take you to complete a piece of your artwork?

A)On average about 3 months

Q)What else are you interested in besides visual arts?

A)Life baby. life. and Grey Goose Vodka.

Q)Got any new projects planned?

A)Yes, a new internet film. 2007

Q)How would you describe your art to someone who could not see it?

A)I'd let them hear it.

Q)What other talent would most like to have?

A)Jazz drummer.


Q)What are your most beloved items?


A)I try not to get attached to material stuff, so I love all my beloved items as beloved items.

Q)Favourite books?

A)In The Skin of a Lion, Michael Ondaatje; Woody Allen on Woody Allen, Stig Bjorkman; and something pulpy thrown in the mix by Mario Puzo.

Q)Do you remember the first draw you made?

A)Scribbles. I was 24.

Q)What kind of music do you like and do you listen…And is the music importan for your art…?

A)Coltrane, Hubbard, Fela Kuti, Radiohead.
